Last week, we looked at the early church’s ability to transcend its own prejudices and generations of received beliefs, and asked what the church of today could learn from this.

Today, we ask the same question regarding the socio-economic situation as described in the Book of Acts and compare it with Christians’ attitudes in general today. I begin by asking Dr. Epperly what are the big differences he sees, and what are some of the lessons the early church can teach us?
