Unjumbling the Gospels: The Seven Video Series

For many Christians, the Gospels are all jumbled up in their minds. Lost are the unique perspectives on Jesus, God, the church, and our place in the world that each brings. It is not an exaggeration to say each perspective is radically different; in some cases even contradictory. These videos will establish each Gospel’s purpose and make the Jesus it represents unique.  The result is a greater appreciation for the Bible as a book that offers many approaches to faith. It also gives us permission to construct a Jesus for our day.

These videos are intended for general church audiences. Although they take advantage of the best of recent scholarship, they are not delivered professorially. They introduce themes and theologies that will generate lively and meaningful discussion. Pastors will appreciate the increased level of biblical literacy in their congregations without turning people into literalists. Progressive Christian insights are found throughout the videos.
